Freddy is 19. Victor is 51, a failure as an actor and a poet, and on top of it an alcoholic. He is also Freddy's father. It is the first time that they have ever seen each other. Freddy, who otherwise just hangs out at some place in Rome or London, uses their encounter to make her first film. But talking isn't all that easy, Freddy is a leftist, Victor is a conservative and rightist. She loves to take walks, and just the idea of doing so gives him headaches. But they are both fans of the same football club. An absurd meeting. A small secret conceals itself beneath the deliberately amateurish documentation...
