The sky over Sao Paulo is full of helicopters. With more than 350 daily departures and landings (meaning one flight every four minutes), the city ranks number one in terms of helicopter air traffic. And with 500 counted helicopters, it ranks third internationally after Tokyo and New York in terms of air fleets. The Brazilian bureau for civil air traffic also confirms 220 helipads.
