A loudspeaker and a proximity sensor have been mounted on a rotating metal bracket. When the sensor detects a visitor moving towards the interactive installation, the system responds by varying the rotational speed and the sounds emitted by the loudspeaker. An immediate and vital dialogue between system and visitors is created.
